How to connect Agoda

You switch on channel manager mode yourself from YCS. Your Agoda contract, photos and property info need to be complete first.

  1. 1

Make sure your Agoda contract and listing are complete

Property information and photos need to be filled in before you can switch connectivity provider.

  2. 2

Sign in to YCS → Settings → Property Settings

    Use the property owner's account.

  3. 3

    Note your Agoda Property ID

It's the 6–7 digit number shown under your property name on the YCS homepage. You'll enter it in Prime Host.

  4. 4

    Open “Optional settings”

On some accounts this tab is labelled “Connectivity” instead.

  5. 5

Turn on “Enable channel manager mode” and choose Channex

Channex is the connectivity partner Prime Host connects through — don't pick another provider from the list.

  6. 6

    Click Save

Bottom right corner of the page.

Can't find the menu? Message Agoda support inside your extranet inbox and ask them to connect you to Channex.

What you get on Agoda

Read-back on every update

A success response is not treated as done. After each rate or availability change we read the value back from Agoda and only then mark it confirmed.

See what the guest really paid

Prime Shield compares the price you sent with what the guest paid and tells you the gap in money.

Real commission, measured — even without a commission field

Agoda doesn't send a commission figure on every reservation the way some other channels do. Prime Host still measures it, worked out from the gap between the net amount and the sell amount on your own bookings.

Agoda booking ID on every booking

Each reservation shows its Agoda reference so you can check it against YCS yourself.

Per-channel pricing

Set a different price for Agoda than for other channels.

One calendar

Agoda sits in the same calendar as Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia and Trip.com.

Good to know before you connect

Works

  • You keep your Agoda contract, commission and payouts — nothing changes on that side
  • Your Property ID is right on the YCS homepage, under your property name
  • You can set a different price for Agoda than for other channels

Limits

  • Missed-reservation recovery is not available for Agoda — if a booking fails to come through, check YCS directly
  • The menu name varies by account — “Optional settings” on some, “Connectivity” on others
  • Reservations made before you connected are not imported into history

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to connect Agoda?

The YCS step itself takes a few minutes once your property is fully set up. After Agoda confirms Channex as your provider, you map rooms in Prime Host.

Where do I find my Agoda Property ID?

On the YCS homepage — it's the 6–7 digit number under your property name, top left.

I don't see “Optional settings” or “Enable channel manager mode” — what now?

Some YCS accounts label the tab differently, or hide it. Message Agoda support in your extranet inbox and ask them to connect your property to Channex.

Does Prime Host recover bookings Agoda fails to send?

Not for Agoda. That recovery works for Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia and Trip.com, but Agoda doesn't support it the same way — check YCS directly if a booking seems missing.

Can Prime Host show my real Agoda commission if Agoda doesn't send it?

Yes. We work it out from the difference between the net amount and the sell amount on your own Agoda reservations, rather than needing Agoda to report it directly.
