How to connect Trip.com

You switch connectivity provider yourself from eBooking. It takes a few clicks once you're signed in.

  1. 1

    Sign in to Trip.com eBooking

    Use the property owner's account.

  2. 2

    Note your Trip.com Hotel ID

Find it under Hotel Information → Hotel ID. You'll enter it in Prime Host.

  3. 3

Rates & Availability → Connectivity Settings

Open this from the expanding menu.

  4. 4

Search “Channex” and select it, then click Continue

Channex is the connectivity partner Prime Host connects through — don't pick another provider.

  5. 5

    Click Connect

This confirms the connection on Trip.com's side.

Don't see a connectivity menu in your account? Email [email protected] and ask them to open it for you.

What you get on Trip.com

Read-back on every update

A success response is not treated as done. After each rate or availability change we read the value back from Trip.com and only then mark it confirmed.

See what the guest really paid

Prime Shield compares the price you sent with what the guest paid and tells you the gap in money.

Real commission, measured

Commission is calculated from your own Trip.com reservations, not a fixed number you type in.

Missed reservations recovered

If Trip.com fails to deliver a reservation, the system can pull it from the channel queue again.

Trip.com reference on every booking

Each reservation shows its Trip.com reference so you can check it against eBooking yourself.

Per-channel pricing

Set a different price for Trip.com than for other channels.

One calendar

Trip.com sits in the same calendar as Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda and Expedia.

Good to know before you connect

Works

  • You keep your Trip.com contract, commission and payouts — nothing changes on that side
  • Your Hotel ID is in the same menu you use to connect, under Hotel Information
  • Missed reservations can be recovered automatically

Limits

  • Some eBooking accounts don't show the connectivity menu — use the email fallback to [email protected]
  • Reservations made before you connected are not imported into history
